The name honours the 1789 Adventure disaster off South Shields, which led to the creation of the world’s first purpose-built lifeboat. A portion of every sale supports independent lifeboat houses.

carries a legacy. Our name honours the 1789 "Adventure" disaster off South Shields, which sparked a desperate search for a vessel that could conquer the storm.

A portion of proceeds from each bottle will be donated to help independent lifeboat houses across the UK.

The Battle of Britain pays tribute to all those who served during Britain's darkest hour during World War Two and, against all odds,
repelled Hitler's plans to invade.
